Originally a Chemical Engineer, Dik took an MBA at London Business School to become a strategy and change management consultant before realising that any strategy is only as effective as the people who implement it.
So he made the switch some 20 years ago to the world of employee engagement, eventually leading think-tanks such as Smythe Dorward Lambert in the 90’s. All of which gives him a state of the art but mature perspective. He’s seen it all before and knows what works and what doesn’t. Not a know-it-all, more of a know-how-all.
He has run projects for countless organisations in countries throughout the world and being a native Dutchman who spent his formative years in Holland before completing his education in the UK, he understands the challenges of engaging employees across different cultures. He has a knack for building easy rapport with people.
When not working you will find Dik on the 5-a-side pitch pretending he can still play football, or riding a bike across Europe, or nursing injuries from either of those.
